FLASH CONVERSATION: THE COVID-19 CRISIS
In response to member needs and the rapidly evolving nature of the crisis, CWR's Education and Membership Committees invite you to join us today (Friday, March 20) for a CWR Flash Conversation on contending with the challenges posed by the COVID-19 crisis. This Flash Conversation will provide a forum for peer support and for members to share experiences and best practices for dealing with the challenges created by the crisis. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions of their fellow members and suggest ways in which CWR can further assist its membership. The Flash Conversation will be facilitated by Education Committee Chair Jennifer Brandlon and Membership Committee Chair Tammy Townsend Denny. We will be joined by a guest during today's Flash Conversation: Jane Wakahiu, LSOSF, Ph.D., Associate VP of Program Operations and Head of Catholic Sisters Initiative for the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. In addition, Sabrina Wong and J.C. Walsh of the Hilton Foundation may also join us. Sr. Jane asked to listen in on today's conversation in order to learn more about how COVID-19 is impacting sisters and better enable the Hilton Foundation to respond and provide support for sisters during the coming months. While CWR Flash Conversations are, as a rule, open exclusively to members, welcoming Sr. Jane today provides an excellent opportunity for CWR to demonstrate the essential role communicators play for women religious congregations.
